Conveyor Lights

the wheels before they meet the lights...

Why do we call them conveyor lights?  Well, that’s because the shades are made out of the conveyors of old industrial conveyor ovens… and that’s not the only repurposed material involved in the creation of our conveyor lights. The part that tops off the shade and ties all the hardware together is actually comprised of wagon wheels (pictured above) from old farm equipment.

Interested in something we have at Cleveland art?  It will have a story, just ask us.

ART WITH A RESUME

Vintage foundry patterns / molds have found a new purpose in our eco-aware society. Yes, your art can come with a resume.  These molds once made gears that were paired with leather belts, harnessing the power of water in the machine age.  The Illinois Gear and Machine Company boasted in ads that they produced the finest gears, and in 2011 they can add the finest of art to that claim.
